From Application Technician to Product Manager
We are looking for a skilled Application Technician to support our customers with technical inquiries and play a key role in shaping the product development process alongside our development team.
Your Responsibilities with Us:
In your future role, you will be the primary contact for our customers in the OEM sector and specialized trade regarding technical inquiries about our range of precision tools. Additionally, you will motivate and train both new and existing customers, providing information about new products. At trade fairs and during internal and external customer events, you will inspire our partners with our technology.
You will support our internal sales team with product-specific questions and in the preparation of offers.
In the medium to long term, you will have the opportunity to establish yourself as a leader in the areas of sales and product development. This involves identifying markets and opportunities, analyzing them, and working with our development team to advance our product portfolio. As a future specialist, you will also find open doors and career growth opportunities within our company.
Our Expectations of You:
- technical training in a metalworking profession, such as machining technician specializing in milling/threading, possibly with additional qualifications as a technician or master craftsman
- alternatively, a successfully completed degree in engineering
- ideally, initial professional experience with market and customer knowledge in the tool and mechanical engineering industry
- optional: Relevant experience in field sales
- absolute customer and service orientation come naturally to you
- strong ability to grasp technically complex issues
- Flexibility, communication skills, teamwork, negotiation confidence, and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
