Thanks to the clever and simple exchange of just one component, for example, you can quickly adapt to new customer requirements.
FAHRION Technology Centre
In the FAHRION Technology Centre, you can thoroughly test our products in real production scenarios and even with your own materials and cutting tools, if desired. Our Technology Centre is equipped with the following machines:
- Mikron HPM 600 HD with a highly precise STEP-TEC HSK-A63 spindle, including integrated vibration measurement and 20,000 rpm
- FANUC ROBODRILL α-D21LiB5 Plus with BBT30 spindle, 24,000 rpm and 4th and 5th axis
These machines meet all the requirements of HSC (High-Speed Cutting) and HPC (High-Performance Cutting) technologies.
Using Kistler dynamometers, forces and vibrations of up to 30 kN can be measured, displayed and evaluated at both the spindle and the collet.

When you look for synonyms for „sustainability,“ you find words like „long-term,“ „deep-reaching,“ „strong,“ „impactful,“ „lasting,“ and „future-proof.“ All words that perfectly describe us as a family business. FAHRION stands for tradition, long-term planning, innovation and above all, responsibility towards employees, customers and our environment – and has done so for over 115 years. As a family-run company, it’s only natural for us to actively support others and handle our resources responsibly.
Since we decided to stop distributing Christmas and promotional gifts among our business partners and instead increase our donations, the corresponding budget has been directed towards supporting the following regional and national projects, clubs and initiatives:
ON THE WAY TO BECOMING AN ECOLOGICALLY SUSTAINABLE COMPANY
The environment is very important to us. Therefore, we have set ourselves the major goal of becoming even more ecologically sustainable. As a manufacturing company with high energy consumption, this is not always easy. Nevertheless, we are working hard on various areas to contribute.
Here’s just a small selection of the many activities we’ve already initiated:
- Installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof, which now covers part of our energy consumption – the rest is offset by 100% renewable energy.
- Conversion of much of our packaging material to recycled plastic.
- Extensive conversion to LED lighting.
- Reduction of paper printouts by adjusting internal processes.

In 2023, we highlighted our commitment to environmental and sustainability issues with certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
Compliance with DIN EN ISO 14001 guidelines is regularly audited.
Quality management: DIN EN ISO 9001 certificate
As early as 2003, we implemented a quality management system for the entire production process of our precision collets, covering all procedures from development and design to manufacturing.
